Children’s activities at the Kensington Dollshouse Festival

Our dolls house & miniatures shows are for all the family so we have created activities that our younger visitors can join in. These activities are FREE to all ticket holders and suitable for children of all ages.

The Marvellous Mouse Hunt

This must be one of the most popular activities in London! A family of pesky knitted mice have escaped & are hidden all over the show. Collect your form from our Reception Desk & hunt down these naughty mice. Mark carefully where you find each one & bring your form back to us when you have finished.

The best hunters will be put in to a draw to win an incredible Mouse House & family made by The Pig Style.

The Marvellous Mouse Hunt will be running throughout the show with last entries accepted at 3.30pm on Saturday.

The Gingerbread Craft Club

We are always on the lookout for new makers, so we feel it is important to give some guidance to keen young miniaturists. The Craft Club is a haven for children who like to have a go themselves. We have loads of materials & equipment to make something for your dolls house.

This year, we are providing materials to make some dolls house packaging. Shepherd Miniatures have designed some perfect boxes etc that can be cut, glued & sculpted into necessary packages for every dolls house. We think the this will be suitable for children aged 7+, but there will be other activities for younger children too.

The Gingerbread Craft Club is open on SATURDAY ONLY from 12-4pm. You do not need to book, but there maybe a time limit at busy periods.
