Exhibition of Perfection in Miniature Awards entries at Bankside Gallery

The Royal Society of Miniature Artists, Sculptors & Gravers have invited us to exhibit our P.I.M.A winners & runners up as part of their Summer Exhibition.

Ever since the Perfection in Miniature Awards (PIMA) began back in 2015, we have been looking for the perfect venue to exhibit the winners & runners up from our incredible competition. We have always felt that the work entered into these awards deserves to be seen but a wider audience, not just the visitors who attend our Summer Show.

We are so excited to announce that this year we have found the perfect venue! The Royal Miniature Society is an art society founded in 1895 dedicated to upholding and continuing the tradition of miniature painting and sculpture (often the painted miniature portrait which is a particular English tradition). The Society’s aim is to protect and practise the traditional 16th Century art of miniature work, emphasising the infinite patience needed for its fine techniques. The Society’s patron is King Charles III.

Every Summer, the RMA holds its annual Summer Exhibition at Bankside Gallery, located on the Southbank, next to Tate Modern. This year, the Kensington Dollshouse Festival has been invited to exhibit some of the winners & runners up in our PIMA at their Summer Show. This is a match made in heaven for us! We know that the entries in the PIMA will more than stand up alongside the incredible work the will be on display at the exhibition.

Entry to Bankside Gallery is FREE, so if you cannot visit our show on May 17th & 18th, where all the PIMA 2024 entries will be displayed, why not come along to see the chosen entries & more.
