Is there anybody out there?
In 2022 we are on the hunt for new, talented miniaturists to be part of our shows.

Covid has definitely had an effect on the miniatures industry over the last 2 years, with many established makers, who were either near the end of their career or who have not been able to focus on miniatures in the way they could pre covid, deciding to retire. This is devastating for us, as many of these makers have become dear friends (some of whom I have known for over 30 years), but also because we are loosing their unique work.
Covid hasn’t been all bad news however. New makers are emerging through social media platforms, which means exciting days are ahead of us.
We have decided that in 2022 we will focus on searching out the undiscovered talent of our small world .. those makers who maybe make miniatures in some way as a hobby, or who don’t know that there are opportunities to make a living as a miniaturist & doing what you love.
Do you know someone who makes incredible replica furniture? A potter working in 1:12 scale? A jeweller who is starting to make tiny silver items for dolls houses? A glassblower making miniature masterpieces? or a doll maker creating 1:12 scale characters. These are the areas we are focusing on, but any creative maker would be interesting to us. If you you know someone, please let us know or ask them to contact us.

It is a big step to go from creating things for you own personal enjoyment, to attempting to sell your work & make money from it, so we will do all we can to help & advise. You maybe just starting out, or have been working in miniature for quite a while; it doesn’t matter, we would like to help you to move up to the next level. How can we help? We can advise new makers about their work, help with funding a trip to their first dolls house show – wherever they live in the world, put them in touch with mentors who can talk to them about the logistics of turning their hobby into a business & much more!
This could be an exciting year for our tiny world, so let’s hunt out the next generation of talented craftsmen who will keep this hobby moving forward.
If you, or someone you know, would like more information on how to apply as an exhibitor at one of our live or online events, please email us & we will contact you with more information
